About us

We are Harrie and Dineke Oud, and we have had our own place in the Tarn region of southern France since 2009. We have been living here permanently since 2018. We love the peace and spaciousness of the French countryside; it allows us to live a simple life and be as self-sufficient as possible. Respect for nature and the environment is important to us. We wanted to share this wonderful lifestyle with others, which is why we started the "Pont de la Planque" mini-campsite.
At Pont de la Planque, the camping pitches are at least 300 square meters in size, as peace and space are priorities here. The surrounding area offers plenty of hiking trails and cycling opportunities. Within walking distance of the campsite, there is a small organic restaurant that serves—among other things—delicious savory pancakes.
We sort our waste, eat produce from our own organic vegetable garden, swim in the river, and prepare our meals using local and organic ingredients whenever possible. We serve organic wine from the Gaillac region and, above all, enjoy everything this wonderful area has to offer. Come and enjoy it with us!
The grounds offer three types of stay: the mini-campsite with your own tent, two comfortable rental tents and a guest room. The outbuilding "La Ruche" has bathrooms, a washing machine and a communal space.
